Freddie The Crazy One

Meet Freddie. Freddie thinks he owns the place. I went out and took pics of him yesterday and almost felt as if I needed his consent. We have thought of getting rid of him because he can be too bossy at times when we need to do work out at the barn. It would seem Freddie and my husband have come to an agreement. LOL He is really a guard dog for the chickens and the horses and honestly I think hubby has developed a soft spot for the bugger. He is pictured above with Candy, our sweet painted pony. They are best friends. I have never seen a rooster before, who was not afraid of being stepped on by the horses. I guess we know who's boss! *♥ ♥*¨¨*♥ ♥*¨¨*♥ ♥*¨

I am in love with your farm. You even have a pond (how cool is that), I have always wanted to have land and animals. One day maybe.

The other day we had a hen walking around in our neighborhood looking just like those. We don't have a clue to whom it belongs too. No farms here either.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Great Post!
We just rehoused 2 of our roosters last weekend.
One was a stunning looking Rooster and was sad to see him go.
The other was a Freddie,But had a really mean spotfor my Son and Would Chase him and terrorise the poor kid...
So Off they went.
Now it is just us and the 13 hens...

You can tell even in the Photo ,The way Freddie is struttin' his stuff! lol!
